So what lies ahead for Rovio and the angry birds? Well of course they are going to have some plans and the flight of angry birds is not going to end here. There are bound to be more games and franchises like Angry Birds but for the tme being it seems Rovio is going to focus on crossovers with different organizations and media such as Formula 1, Superbowl, Simpsons and Rio. With more than 450 million subscribers in YouTube, Rovio will continue to slot in social media users. There are about 20 million fans on Facebook and over 425,000 followers on Twitters.

Around $1.2 billion evaluation of Rovio, the company behind Angry Birds seems reasonable, but the company is probably worth more. CEO of Rovio, Peter Vesterbacka , pointing to the multiple streams of revenues adding to the company thinks like that too. The company no longer relies on selling its products to fuel its growth. Millions of pieces of Angry Birds merchandise seem to get sold every month. And now with new levels getting added for Angry Birds space, it seems the company is really rocking. Those angry birds are sure fast and quick.
Angry birds have done immensely well for themselves. Launched in 2009, by Rovio, the game developer based in Finland, the revenues have jumped from $10 million to $100 million in just a year. Well, this is not bad for a simple video game with grinning green pigs, colorful angry bird and flying debris all around. Angry Birds merchandise can be seen all over. What makes the game so immensely popular is the dumb basic working behind. With no plot, no adventure, all one needs to do is fling those birds at green pigs taking shelter in collapsible structures after stealing the birds’ eggs. There are no complex instructions to follow. Those birds even don’t have wings! But you do needs to cross those levels which get more challenging every time. Well, there seems to be some good reasons behind this an idiotic game becoming a global frenzy.

With hundreds of Angry Birds toys and accessories, it was no surprise to see Puneet Nanda, of Dr. Fresh, the oral care company, to come up with the idea of using those ruffled feathers in his products too. His licensing manager flew immediately to Finland and after tough discussions and a huge sum of money; Dr. Fresh declared recently that it would be the special U.S. Company and vendor of oral-care products under Angry Birds. Although, Rovio Entertainment was hard to convince, if reports are to be believed!
